This industry serves millions of customers every day. One or more suppliers are probably operating in your neighborhood, and somebody living down the street from you is buying.
What is this mysterious industry? My answer will shock you. I’m talking about the buying and selling of children for sex. It’s child sex slavery. And we must fight to save these children.

The Facts of Modern Slavery
I have learned that more than two million children are enslaved around the world. The numbers are growing. An estimated 300,000 children are being sold for sex every year, right here in America.
This was a surprise to me. My high school teachers said that slavery was a thing of the past. The facts demonstrate, however, that more people are enslaved today than during the entire 300-years of the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade (the 1500s to 1800s). An estimated 40.3 million humans are now illegally stuck within the bonds of forced labor, sex slavery, and organ harvesting.
It is profoundly tragic and evil.
Help from Modern-day Abolitionists
Who is helping? I have learned about a very effective organization dedicated to abolishing child sex slavery. It’s called Operation Underground Railroad (O.U.R., for short). They are modern-day abolitionists. O.U.R. is a group of former CIA, Department of Homeland Security, and military personnel who put boots on the ground to rescue children and put bad guys in prison.
Once rescued, these children face a long road to recovery. O.U.R. walks alongside each of their survivors through a process called “aftercare.” O.U.R. places the children into vetted aftercare homes, where today they are helping more than 5,000 survivors to heal.
Since 2014, O.U.R. has liberated more than 3,000 survivors of sex slavery. They’ve helped to arrest and prosecute 1,621 human traffickers and pedophiles. O.U.R. also expands its fight by empowering law enforcement with powerful tools primed to find and take down human traffickers.
What can we do?
This kind of slavery exists because it so effectively hides in darkness. And understandably, no one feels entirely comfortable talking about it. But the silence must end. Operation Underground Railroad needs all of us to inform others. And they need our financial support.
