Craig Johnson, President of the California Association of Enterprise Zones (“CAEZ“) will be presenting testimony in an upcoming hearing at the California State Capitol.  Sponsored jointly by the (a) Assembly Committee on Jobs, Economic Development, & the Economy and (b) the Assembly Revenue & Taxation Committee, the hearing is likely a response to ongoing efforts by some legislators to explore modifications to California’s enterprise zone program.
As of today, neither of the committees has posted information about the hearing on their websites.  According to the Legislation page on the CAEZ website, the hearing is scheduled for August 18, 2009 from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm at the CA State Capitol in Hearing Room 127.
