We have known for some time now that the latest round of California enterprise zone designations had been decided.  The identify of the new enterprise zones, however, was not publicly announced until today in a press release by the California Department of Housing and Community Development (“HCD”).
Previous designations have often been announced by the state governor’s office.  As a result, today’s announcement is surrounded  by  less fanfare than similar announcements in the past.

As more information becomes available, we will be able to assist our clients and other community members to evaluate their eligibility within these new enterprise zone areas.
